No markdown needed. Paste plain text, leave a blank line between paragraphs, and take the PDF. Put a # in front of a line when you want it to be a heading.

Write a diagram in a code block marked mermaid and the read side draws it. Flowcharts, ER, class and state diagrams are laid out afresh: links at right angles, every name inside its box, arranged to fit the printed page. Sequence diagrams, gantt and pie charts, mind maps and the rest draw too. Each one takes the theme of the page and goes into the PDF whole, its words still words.

How do I convert markdown to PDF?
Write or paste your markdown, then press take_pdf(). The file downloads straight away. Flip to the read side first if you want to see it as the PDF will.
Can I open a markdown file I already have?
Yes. Press open_md() and pick a .md or .txt file, or drag it onto the desk. It is read in this browser, never uploaded. Whatever was on the desk is stashed in versions first.
How do I export markdown as HTML?
Press take_html(). You get a single .html file that looks like the read side and needs nothing else to open. copy_md() and take_md() give you the markdown itself.
Does it draw mermaid diagrams?
Yes. Put the diagram in a code block that starts with ```mermaid and flip to read. Flowcharts, sequence diagrams, gantt and pie charts, mind maps and the rest of mermaid all draw, in the theme of the page, and they go into the PDF and the HTML too.
Can I download a mermaid diagram as a PNG or SVG?
Yes. Press png ↓ or svg ↓ under any diagram on the read side. Like the PDF, the image is made in this browser, so the diagram is never uploaded.
Can I make a PDF from plain text?
Yes. Paste the text as it is. Blank lines become paragraphs, and the PDF comes out set like a proper document.
Where is my writing kept?
In this browser's storage, on this device. Clearing the site's data or pressing wipe × removes it, so take a copy of anything you need to keep.
